Senior Underwriter Property and/or Liability
Hybrid working - 3 days in London office
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Property and/or Casualty Underwriter to join our clients expanding team.
The role will require strong technical underwriting knowledge in the Property and/or Casualty lines of business, as you will be responsible for underwriting key accounts, driving intelligent new business growth and acting as a senior authority holder within the business.
Job Requirements -
Outstanding technical underwriting skills in commercial property and/or casualty writing
>£500k business
Proven track record of dealing with large and/or complex risks
Capable of leveraging data and analytics
Strong leadership capabilities
Excellent trading skills and a confident negotiator. Proven experience in handling large
cases.
Strong ability to build, develop and maintain broker relationships.
Achievement orientated, able to organise own workload to meet tight deadlines and with a
positive attitude.
A good team player. Supportive to others with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
Confident and engaging communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence
others.
