Senior Underwriter (Multinational)- London Market Real Estate

A great opportunity for people who have had experience writing multinational risks, including underwriters looking to progress to a senior level. 

It will require strong technical underwriting knowledge in the London Market Real Estate business, as you will be responsible for underwriting key accounts, driving intelligent new business growth and acting as an authority holder within the business. The roles will involve interaction with the London Brokers and the senior underwriters will be expected to help with training and mentoring.

Our client has an ambition to expand its London Market Real Estate Multinational MidCorp offering to satisfy and support the increasing demand from the expanding international client base and their cross border needs.

To support this, you will join our clients newly formed Multinational Specialist Team

The team will be responsible for the performance of the AZUK direct book of business, whilst also supporting and servicing the needs of our clients network for their International clients.

This role will play a key part in the continued development of our offering to our clients, including driving and building key relationships across our market as we look to satisfy their clients' needs and grow the account.

About you - 

 Outstanding technical underwriting skills in London market real estate
 Exposure to writing Multinational business and an understanding of its key principles is
desirable
 Excellent trading skills and a confident negotiator. Proven experience in handling large
cases
 A strong ability to build, develop and maintain broker relationships
 Achievement orientated, able to organise own workload to meet tight deadlines and with
a positive attitude
 A good team player. Supportive to others with an enthusiastic and positive attitude
 Confident and engaging communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence
others
 ACII qualified or progression towards
 Full working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
