Technology companies are increasingly becoming a bigger part of the global economy and the growth in Technology companies in the UK is 2.6 times faster than the rest of the economy. Our clients want to make the most of the opportunity by adding a specialist technology underwriter to their technology team.
Working nationally, you will be responsible for driving the profitable growth of the technology book at a time of ambitious growth plans. You will join an established and high performing team who operate within a fast paced environment. You will need lots of energy to contribute to a winning team whilst driving your own relationships (internal & external) and pipeline. You will be tasked with case and portfolio underwriting and dealing with technology clients and their brokers. You will also have the opportunity to drive the appetite for technology risks, including the proposition, the underwriting and the pricing. It is therefore essential that you are technically astute, have strong relationship management skills and are driven by an exceptional service ethic. 

You will have your finger on the pulse of the technology market and be able to demonstrate a breadth of knowledge across the technology landscape. Day to day you'll be building market leading relationships with Brokers, underwriting technology risks and thinking about how to exploit the market opportunity by honing your underwriting appetite and your technology proposition.
